Regular member
Full voting rights
Open to regular employees of Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISAT U) and its satellite campuses, and regular employees of the cooperative.

₱500 fee + 25 paid-up shares (₱1,250) of 50.

Questions members ask first
How much does it cost to join? +
A one-time ₱500 membership fee, plus minimum share subscription of 50 shares at ₱50 par value (₱2,500 total subscribed). At least 25 shares (₱1,250) must be paid up upon approval — the rest can be paid over time.
How long does the Pre-Membership Education Seminar (PMES) take? +
PMES is typically a half-day session covering the cooperative principles, your rights and duties as a member, and how cooperatives work. Schedule depends on demand — inquire at the office for the next session.
Can I withdraw later? +
Yes. You can voluntarily withdraw your membership by giving 60 days' written notice to the Board of Directors. Your paid-up share capital is refunded subject to the cooperative's ability to maintain its required reserves.
How do I move from Associate to Regular member? +
Associate members who meet the qualifications for regular membership and have patronized the cooperative continuously for two (2) years can apply to become regular members.

What happens if my application is denied? +
You may appeal to the Appeal and Grievance Committee or the General Assembly within 30 days of receiving the decision. Your ₱500 membership fee is refunded if your application is rejected.
